I LEXINGTON TURF NOTES S The Latonia- Derby received more publicity when Hal Price Headley announced Mandy Mandy foaled a colt by Royal Ford. Handy Mandy, which won the Latonia Derby and Oaks under Headleys colors, was sold to the late W. T. Waggoner for a reported price of 0,000 and after little or no success at Three Ds Stock Farm, she was purchased by Head-ley and returned to Beaumont Farm, the home of her birth. Royal Ford is the sire of Heelfly, Gin Daisy and others. Judge Lewis Ulmer, widely known Cleveland barrister, came down from the Forest City to inspect the five horses B. B. Rice wintered at Keeneland for him. Judge Ulmer has the two-year-olds Sis Lottie a bay daughter of Thundering Triptone, and Dick Q., a chestnut son of Tryster Peggy Thistle. Screen heads the older brigade, which also includes Charmed Circle and Topoco. William Cunningham, who serves as timer, and LouCahn arrived from Louisville and lost no time in getting their split-second watches in action.
