CORNER PENNY SUPPLY TROY, N. Y., April 5. Troy merchants had a difficult time making change Monday, as there was a deficiency in the supply of pennies in the town. Upon investigation it was revealed that students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute had "cornered" the local penny market. Leaders among the stu-j dent body admitted that a quarter of a million pennies had been acquired, but re- fused to give a motive for such action.
