1 LEXINGTON TURF NOTES I e Richard McMahon, manager of Calumet Farm, reports a fine-looking colt foal from DustwhirL The half brother to the Latonia Derby winner Reaping Reward is a son of Blenheim II., which cost an American syndicate 50,000. Millsdale Stables Garry, which has been trained to a sulky by Hunter C. Moody, was shipped to Louisville, where Jack Hodgins will continue his preparation for the Kentucky Derby engagement. Chinatown, Morts Pal, Fumble, Kates Kitten and Gem City Girl comprise the stable John McShane brought from Hot Springs. He shipped with H. H. Battle, who unloaded seven head. Walter Ridenour unloaded eight horses he campaigned at Hot Springs for L. C. Young. Among them were Sweep Royal, Lady Brook, Ho, Lanier and Big Brook and the older members of the stable. He has the two-year-olds Ed, Cynic Queen and one unnamed. E. Cobb who winters half a dozen horses at Keeneland, received Star Banner and a two-year-old daughter of Flying Heels from Edwin Thomas farm. In the same car J. J. Sirl brought Garrett Watts Silverette, Panic Relief, Elktonia Maid, Sir L., Swynfordette and May See. He will take up Usay. Sirl announced Silverette has been returned to training. The daughter of Vandergrift won six races one of which wasa stake, last year. At private terms, H. K. Barron purchased the two-year-old Streeter from C. W. Damon. Barron took over Col. Martis to train for Dr. R. Proctor, and his addition makes seven head the Texan has here. Others are Exchange Club, Royal Link, Sunny Chance and Bojangles. During the absence of his father, who is vacationing at his old home at Dallas, Texas, Edward Haughton, Jr. is looking after the horses. The elder Haughton is expected here Wednesday.
