1 LEXINGTON TURF NOTES I : H. H. Temple, Jr., who has eight horses in training at Keenland, reports that the Morvich mare Tyche, foaled a bay colt by Bull Dog. Temple said he is a fine looking individual. Ernie Myatt, who arrived from New Orleans, will book the engagements for jockey Joe Cowley. Cowley is expected here tomorrow and will ride free lance. To make room for many arrivals, several owners, who wintered their charges at Keen-land, are sending some of their horses to the farm and trotting track. Among those who found quarters elsewhere for horses that will not be ready for the Keeneland meeting are Tom Young, Tom Piatt, Keene Daingerfield, Jr., A. C. Detwiler and others. Ralph Mcllvain, who preceded his horses here from Florida, announced that Chance King is the property of F. S. Williamson, who will race under the nom de course of the Indian Lake Stable and that Albuquerque belongs to Mrs. Mcllvain. The pair will arrive tomorrow with the Hal Price Headlye horses from Miami. Douglas Foy came over from Louisville to confer with several owners who are desirous of securing the services of apprentice V. Nodarse for the Keeneland meeting. No-darse in vacationing at his home in Mari-anao, Cuba, but he expects to be here in time for the opening. Reuben White, who has been schooling horses for several days, had a busy day at the Bahr gate this morning. More than fifty two-year-olds and older horses visited the gate and fifteen of them broke away from it. Frazier and Lebus, have puchased from Mason Foundation Silas B. Mason Estate and asociates, Elk Hill Farm of 197.8 acres, on Russell Cave Pike, adpoining Charles T. -Fishers Dixiana on the north and land already owned by Lebus Brothers on the south. W. C. Goodloe, is home from Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati. A brace for his back is now being made in Cincinnati. Dick McMahon, manager of Calumet Farm, today said thirty-five more applications than could be granted had been received for Hadagals services this season. After Dark, owned by C. J. Fitzgerald and Roy Carruthers, has a fine colt foal by Challenger U. and has been sent to Cohort Court.
