1 TROPICAL PARK TURF NOTES "William Hurley, who is in charge of the winter division of the E. R. Bradley stable, will move the horses of the Kentucky establishment to Havre de Grace late Thursday. James E. Smallman, owner of the Medway Stable, which is one of the leading establishments in money winnings during the present season in Florida, returned from England, where he witnessed the Grand National Steeplechase. Mr, Smallman was away most of the winter on a cruise that took him to Ireland and other points. Frank Coltiletti will ship his horses and those that he trains for other patrons to Suffolk Downs. George Alexandra, trainer of the Medway Stable, has arranged to ship part of the horses in that stable to Toronto to be made ready for the spring meetings at Woodbine Park and Long Branch. Another division will be sent to New England for racing at Suffolk Downs and Narragansett Park. P. Andre, formerly part owner of the Blue and Gold Stable, which has disbanded, purchased the sprinter, Cosmic Ray, from Mrs. W. E. Martin for terms that were not made public. G. V. Wedell has been appointed trainer. Robert S. Shelley is working on the condition book for the summer meeting to be staged at Wheeling Downs and expects to have the book ready for distribution shortly. A. J. Bedell is attempting to secure additional horses to fill a car scheduled to depart for Havre dc Grace at the end of the week. Paul B. Codd, who has a large stable at Tropical Park, is making arrangements to transfer his stable north for spring racing. The Codd stable will campaign in New Eng-land and New York during the summer months. Steve Arata, telegraph operator for the Associated Press, became a benedict late Thursday night at St. Patricks Church, Miami Beach, when he was united into marriage to Miss Margaret Mitchell, of Atlanta, Ga. The couple were attended by Mrs. Mae Sweeny, of Miami Beach, and Robert P. McAuliffe, clerk of the scales at Tropical Park. Several horsemen have altered plans for early spring racing in the East and will ship to Agavam Park near Springfield, Mass., to await the opening of the long summer meeting starting in May. A. E. Van Ree and others have already departed.
