PREDICT FIELD OF ELEVEN Phoenix Hotel Handicap on Keeneland s Opening Card Thursday Should Draw Good Band. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 7. Present indications point to a field of no less than eleven starters for the ,500 added Phoenix Hotel Handicap, feature of Keeneland opening day program, Thursday, April 14. Nineteen were named for the six furlongs test when the nominations closed February 15, and while the race is practically assured of this number of starters there may be several additional ones. Training at Keeneland are Hal Price Headleys Preeminent and Fraidy Cat, J. B. Respess Main Man, Frank Serembas Pin Money and Jay D. Weils Double B. At Calumet Farm Talked About is being prepared for the sprint and Torchy is training at Dixiana. Josh, Dusty Dawn and Arabs Arrow and Bacon are expected momentarily from Louisville and there are possibilities of Greentree being represented by Eli Yale, Perfect Peace and Drowsy and Milky Way Farms by C-Note and High Pressure. Weights for the race will be announced Saturday and the owner of the winner will receive a suitable trophy.
