FOLLOW OLD WEIGHT SCALE Beulah Park Learns New Higher Minimum Not Adopted by Ohio State Racing Commission. COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 25 The old scale of weights will be followed at Beulah Parks spring meeting, May 4-30, inclusive, Robert J. Dienst, president and general manager of the organization, has announced. The condition book was drawn up under the belief that Ohio had adopted the new weight scale. It was learned from the state racing commission that this impression was incorrect as the new high-weight scale was not adopted in Ohio. General manager Dienst also announced that "open house" will be observed at the i Grove City track Sunday, May 1. Racing fans are invited to inspect the course and the numerous improvements that have been made. These include the enlargement of the clubhouse, the new walking paddock and the extensive landscaping program.
