MRS. R. M. HOOTS DIES LEXINGTON, Ky., April 25. Waldo Freeman received word of the death of his mother-in-law, Mrs. R. M. Hoots, whose colors Black Gold carried to victory in the 1924 Kentucky Derby, at her home in Tulsa, Okla. Freeman left for the Oklahoma city, and during his absence "Buddy" Berry is looking after his horses. i
