I HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES s o Charles R. Fleischmann and a large party of friends witnessed the performance of his starter, Parmelee T., in the fourth race Saturday. Alfred G. Weston was chosen by George Brown, Jr., and W. L. Harron, stewards or the Maryland Jockey Club, to be the third steward in the stand during the forthcoming meeting at the Pimlico course. The platers Paplay and Acautaw have been added to the schooling list by starter James F. Milton. Jockey Johnny Longden, contract rider for the Wheatley Stable, was an arrival from. New York to ride Stormscud in the Chesa peake Stakes. Pencader, owned by J. B. Bond, will be on. the shelf for a considerable period, owing td suffering an injury to his stifle here Friday, A deep cut necessitated several stitches to close the wound. Jockey L. Turner stated that he would leave here Wednesday to be on hand for the opening of the New England seasdn. Jockey R. L. Vedder has been engaged to ride Mrs. H. S. Horkheimers shifty three-year-old, Autumnquest, in the Pimlico Oaks to be run May 7. W. J. Hirsch is pointing the good filly Sketchbook for the Pimlico Oaks.
