Bond, will be on. the shelf for a considerable period, owing td suffering an injury to his stifle here Friday, A deep cut necessitated several stitches to close the wound. Jockey L. Turner stated that he would leave here Wednesday to be on hand for the opening of the New England seasdn. Jockey R. L. Vedder has been engaged to ride Mrs. H. S. Horkheimers shifty three-year-old, Autumnquest, in the Pimlico Oaks to be run May 7. W. J. Hirsch is pointing the good filly Sketchbook for the Pimlico Oaks.
