WENDY DARLING moved into the lead with a rush, continued gamely while saving ground, was under strong urging and just failed to last. DERBY DAWN delayed the start, saved ground in the early stages and made a bold bid in the final drive, but was not good enough. ROYAL CHARM lacked early speed and failed to menace the leaders under strong urging. IMPERIAL SALLY finished gamely. GREENUP TIME had early speed. ZEVANAID was through after a quarter mile.
