1 CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES ! 4 _ 1 Before leaving for Agawam, R. C. Mc-Ilvain purchased the Greentree Stable two-year-old Truckin and the youngster was included in the Indian Lake Stable shipment to that Massachusetts track. Apprentice V. Polk, under contract to the Greentree Stable, has been turned over to Mcllvain for an indefinite period. Jockey Willie Carroll stopped off for the day en route to Omaha from River Downs. He plans to resume riding at Omaha. Jockey Joe Cowley left for Detroit. Charles Ferguson plans to keep the strong stable he is training for his father and Mrs. Ferguson here until next Wednesday when they will be transferred to Lincoln Fields. Kirby Ramsey and J. Fred Miles left Thursday for Aurora where Ramsey will saddle Gov. Chandler for his engagement in the Illinois Derby Saturday. Jockey Willie Garner was to leave tonight. Following the close here Mrs. Navins stable, trained by Lee ODonnell will invade the East for a campaign at Delaware Park, : opening early next month. I 1
