1 RIVER DOWNS TURF NOTES | ♦ — « Alice Highland and Indian Sport, which are the property of Hanley C. Ragan, were shipped to Detroit from Lexington, Ky. The horses are to be taken up by C. R. Allen upon his arrival at the Motor City track. Apprentice J. Carter left Thursday for Chicago, where he reports to C. Young. Jockey Eddie De Prang departed Thursday for Omaha. E. Diesen will handle De Prangs engagements at the Ak-Sar-Ben meeting. Jockey A. Craig will leave Friday for Detroit, where he has been engaged to ride for Dixiana in the Inaugural Handicap. R. C. Groff will have his four horses which are now campaigning at Aurora shipped to Detroit Monday to join the main division of the stable, coming from River Downs.
