SUFFOLK DOWNS NOTES Wayne Wright returned to New York immediately after riding Deliberator in the ,000 added Joseph Tomasello Memorial Handicap. Jockey Joe Rosen will leave for Detroit after Fridays racing. Horsemen racing here are drawing up a petition against the 25 per cent increase clause in the claiming rule, and it will be presented to the state racing commission. C. S. Howard telegraphed to prepare stalls for the sixteen members of his string, which will be shipped from Belmont Park. Jockey C. Stevenson has been engaged to pilot Last Message in the Kentucky Oaks Saturday at Churchill Downs. Stevenson will return to Suffolk Downs after fulfilling his engagement on the Tall Trees Stable miss in the Kentucky classic. Bert Pomeroy shipped Hildegarde, LEtoile and four others to Agawam Park Thursday. S. A. Nielsen sent along Landscape and Forest B. in the same shipment. A. Pelleteri is expected to ship a division of the Millsdale Stable to Suffolk Downs next week. Jockey G. Smith departed for Agawam Park, where he will ride for Frank Andolino. W. H. Gallagher and Yancey Christmas •shipped divisions of their stables to Agawam Park to await the opening of the Springfield meeting. P. D. Watts sold the capable handicap per- former Busy K. to D. A. Woods. Busy K., second to Pompoon in the Dixie, is expected to arrive at Suffolk Downs some time Thursday from Maryland. He will be turned over to L. E. Ogle to train.
