DETROIT HANDICAP WEIGHTS Main Man Assigned 126 Pounds for Both Inaugural and Col. Alger Memorial Handicaps. DETROIT, Mich., May 26.— Main Man, un-| defeated this year, was assigned 126 pounds, top weight for the Inaugural and Col. Alger Memorial handicaps, the first two stakes to be offered during the Detroit season, which opens Saturday. Crack fields have been named for both races. The Inaugural will be run over six furlongs as the feature for Saturday, and the Col. Alger Memorial Handicap, at one and one-sixteenth miles, will top the Decoration Day program on Monday . Among those named to oppose Main Man | in the Inaugural are Dora May, Sweep Like, Grey Gold, Torchy and eight others. In the Col. Alger the son of Hildur will match strides with Zevson, Tempestuous, Chance Ray and seven others. The weights follow: Inaugural Handicap— Main Man, 126; Sweep Like, 117; Dora May, 116; Couleedam, 112; Torchy, 111; Grey Streak, 110; Trans-mutable, 110; Grey Gold, 108; Prince Argo, 108; Cardinalis, 106; Chalphone, 105; Miss Bull Dog, 100, and Osculet, 95. Col. Alger Memorial Handicap— Main Man, 126; Zevson, 115; Tempestuous, 115; Chance ; Ray, 112; Sir Jim James, 112; Couleedam, j 111; Francesco, 110; Gyral, 109; Grey Gold, 109; Kings Heir, 108, and Chalphone, 105.
