MAIDEN DREAM, under mild restraint for a quarter mile, was placed under mild urging approaching the stretch turn, came to the outside for the final drive and disposed of BALD EAGLE without need of pressure. COPPER LAD, hustled from the start and also coming out for the stretch drive, finished gamely. BALD EAGLE moved into command when called upon and was steered to the inside, but tired in the drive. HEDON failed to respond to strong urging in the last stages. THE NIZAM had no mishaps. BILLIE DEE OR had good speed for threo-oighths. MAYSTICK raced on the outside throughout. MUSICAL JACK forced the pace from the start, came to the outside of RED GO turning into the stretch, had a slight lead approaching the final eighth, was placed under strong urging, disposed of RED GO, but swerved badly in the last few strides and just failed to last. RED GO, on the inside throughout and hustled from the start, tired in the closing drive. ALLEGORY made a bold bid approaching the final eighth, but tired. EDDIES BROTHER finished gamely. ONCE IN A WHILE, never a great distance back and saving ground, held on gamely in the final stages. LA ROGERS had no mishaps. VALCOLA lacked speed. MISS REVEILLE broke fast, had early speed, but appeared to bear out slightly on the turns. BUCKS GEINE, away slowly, bore out on the first turn and was eased up. The latter, under restraint in the early stages, came out for the final drive and, under strong urging, disposed of KANSASCITIAN and held CINAR safe. The latter, eased slightly when in close quarters rounding the first turn, moved up gamely in the stretch drive and closed strongly. EQUANIMITY held on gamely in the stretch drive.
