DETROIT EMPLOYMENT UP DETROIT, Mich., Oct. 6. According to the employment index of the Detroit Board of Commerce figures as of September 30 were set at 72.1. On September 15 it was 62.6 and on September 30 of,last year it reached 110 4 The boards index of 100 is equivalent to 360,000 employed workers. Thus it is revealed that 34,200 workers returned to their jobs in the final fifteen-day period in September.
