CHURCHILL DOWNS STATISTICS Most Successful Fall Session in Years at Louisville. ; J. W. Brown, T. II. Dorset, J. Bowen and W. Causey Leaders in Their Divisions Odds-On Choices Fail. ! Churchill Downs staged one of its most successful fall meeting from October 29 to November 5, seven racing days during which the derby track distributed an average of ,028.57 per day, or a total of 2,200. Thirty-five per cent of the favorites made good, although the odds-on choices failed badly, two winning and three losing. J. W. Brown, owner of T. M. Dorsett, winner of the final running of the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes, was the leading owner with ,450. The son of Cohort in turn led the equine money winners. J. Bowen rode seven winners, to average one per day and take riding honors. W. Causey, saddling four winners, was best among the trainers.
