SPEED PLANS FOR JEWS EXODUS LONDON, England, Nov. 18 Following consultation with colonial governors, the British government has decided to allot certain empire areas, particularly in Tanganyika, for settlement by Jewish refugees, it was learned today. This plan is in line with a comprehensive, program worked out by British government officials and United States Ambassador Kennedy. Britain, France, the United States, and The Netherlands speeded plans for removing some 600,000 Jews from the Reich, despite Berlin reports of technical obstacles placed in the way of an exodus of German Jews. Chief of these was that German tax authorities have been ordered to withhold from Jews, certificates indicating that their taxes have been paid.
