ONE-TENTH, outrun for the first half mile, improved his position stoutly, closed resolutely on the outside and was up in the concluding strides. SIR MOWLEE gained fast to enter contention, wore down the leaders, but failed to withstand the winner. KEY "MAN raced in the first flight and finished gamely in the closing drive. CARIEL raced in close attendance of the pacemaker, but tired in the stretch. CORONADO raced on the outside and finished with good speed under punishment and finished in a dead heat with CARIEL. JOLLY FLAG raced stoutly for five-eighths, then tired. BULLET B. was stoutly handled, but could not keep up. REDFOOT could not get clear after moving to the front and was badly blocked in the last eighth. BROTHER JONES broke slowly. DONA DULCIN outran her field to the first turn, stalled off early opposition from ALLEN CAID and RESURRECTION, rallied to a vigorous drive and outstayed BRIGHT CHANCE. The latter was prominent from the beginning, reached the winner on the final turn and fought it out strongly to the Finish. PLAYING DAN was squeezed back going to the first turn when lacking racing room, swung to the outside and bettered his position steadily. FRENCH TRAP was pinched back midway of the back stretch, recovered and showed a good effort. BE BIG could not make up any ground in the final test. GALCREST had a rough trip. PUDDLES was never a threat. ALLEN CAID was timidly ridden. SAND CLOUD could riot keep up. RESURRECTION went badly lame and was pulled up. HOLIDAY TEA was hustled to the front soon after the start, shook off SAVING GRACE and ACCIDENTAL, opened up a winning lead when straightened into the stretch, but had to be placed to punishment to stall off ANN MOWLEE. The latter, lacking early speed, was taken wide to improve her position, then finished with a determined rush nearing the close. KENS MOM was hustled along to keep in the first flight and finished willingly under a hard drive. ACCIDENTAL raced strongly until reaching the stretch, then tired. BARRACA gained slowly in the last five-sixteenths. TIMETTA raced evenly. BUCK BENNY showed a flash of early speed. SAVING GRACE failed to stay. The others were never factors. GHOST QUEEN, going close to the leaders in the early running, moved up fast to displace the leaders entering the stretch and drew clear, but had to be ridden strongly to withstand TODDLE ON. The latter, eased back off the rail position on the turn out of the back stretch, swung to the ouside and was wearing, down the winner with every stride approaching the finish. FAIR KNIGHTESS had much speed while setting the pace, but was unable to rally when caught. MAECLOUD lost ground, but closed with good speed. The latter, trailing his field for the first three-quarters, gained fast when placed to punishment and .finished full of run on the outside of the winner. BROWN MOTH drove through on the inside of NO ENDING to take command, saved ground thereafter, but tired in the last quarter mile. TRANSMITTER could not keep up and saved ground. The latter was close up in the early running, reached the winner midway of the final turn and fought it out courageously to the finish. JOBAKHETA, steadied back of the leaders for three-quarters, was sent up on the inside in the deep footing to engage the leaders on the last turn, then faltered badly under punishment when unable to untrack himself. BRAVING DANGER began slowly, then raced wide to improve his position. FLYING MINT made a weak bid on the final turn. LAST SCAMP was unable to keep up. WALMISS broke poorly. MR. MONUMENT, slow as usual to settle in stride, came between horses and finished with a rush on the outside of the first two. GLISTEN was a strong contender from the start, made strong bids and held on gamely. PHARABOO moved up strongly on the final turn, but was taken wide and lost all chance. PALAN, beginning slowly, made up much ground. VESTALE was unable to threaten. CANDY HERO tired early. STAR PORTER broke slowly and had no speed. TOBY TYLER was held safe. WHIZZAWAY quit to a walk.
