t BOWIE TURF NOTES ? s $, Fred Livingston, general manager of the Thorncliffe Racing and Breeding Association, operating Thorncliffe Park in Toronto, Canada, was an arrival from the Dominion to take in some of the sport at Bowie. Walter A. Carter arrived from Narragan-sett Park with the good handicap performer Clodion, an eligible for the Prince George Autumn Handicap, the T. K. Lynch Memorial Handicap and the Biyan and OHara Memorial Handicap.. Jockey F. Smock accompanied the shipment from New England. Jockey F. A. Smith pulled stakes and departed for his home to spend a short vacation before going to Florida, where he will resume riding. R. C. Watts has, made plans to ship four members of his stable to Oriental Park for the winter meeting of the Havana-American Racing Association.
