MARES AND WEANLINGS SENT TO CLARKLAND LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 19. Six mares and five weanlings, property of Sage Stable, have been transferred from Elmsmeade Farm, now devoted to the horses of Mrs. F. Ambrose Clark and Mrs. Deering Howe Howe Stable, to John W. Marrs Clarkland Farm. The mares are Bannerette, barren; Bravery, in foal to Peace Chance; Ellipse, in foal to Coldstream; Fly Light, barren; Mad Hattie, barren; and Oval, in foal to Equipoise. The weanlings are: Brown filly, by The Porter Bravery; brown filly, by Pharamond II. Fly Light; chestnut colt, by Questionnaire Ellipse; brown filly, by Cohort Mad Hattie, and chestnut colt, by Equipoise Oval. Sage Stable sold Delight, in foal to The Porter, and her weanling filly, by Bold Venture, to John Hay Whitney. The mares and weanlings sent from Pagebrok Farm, Boyce, Va., to Elmsmeade Farm, by Howe Stable, alcng with the stallion, Only One, are: Kate, and a chestnut filly, by The Scout Lespedeza II., a bay cony by Granville Scarborough, and a chestnut filly, by Haste Evening Hour.
