E. F. FITZGERALD INCREASES TRAINING ACTIVITIES SAN BRUNO, Calif., Nov. 19. E. F. Smiling Frank Fitzgerald has been appointed trainer for the horses Dear Diary and Morning Breeze, which represent Neil S. McCarthy. Fitzgerald took the stock over Friday, relieving trainer T. D. Grimes, who still directs the conditioning of the stake horse Today. Aside from having charge of the McCarthy horses, Fitzgerald also conditions Dont Forget and Enoch Borland for Lou Rowan and those performers of the Ventura Stable. 1
