BRANDEIS VISITS ROOSEVELT WASHINGTON, D. C, Nov. 19. Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis paid an unscheduled call on President Roosevelt at the White House today. President Roosevelt received him in the mansion instead of the executive offices. Whether the call was in connection with the Jewish refugee problem, in which the justice is deeply interested, was not ascertained. There have been frequent rumors of late that Justice Brandeis, at 83, is considering retiring from the bench.
