GET ,000 IN HOLDUP Three bandits slugged Earl Roy, 45, of 5129 Dorchester Avenue, employed as a messenger by the Metropolitan Currency Exchange, 122 E. Forty-Seventh Street, then disarmed his special police guard and seizing ,000 in currency sped away in a car driven by a fourth member of the gang. Roy had withdrawn the money from the Central National Bank and was en route to the office when he was accosted by the gunmen. The latter overlooked ,000 which the messenger had placed in his inside coat pocket:
