I FAIR GROUNDS TURF NOTEiT "Whitey" Wilson brought Fiddle Faddle and National Air. E. Prickard brought Cosmic Prince and Miss Apprehend. A. J. Wesphal brought Dinner Jacket and Flaming Play; H. S. Takera brought Taka Walk, and Coleman and Fay brought Precursor. The veteran horseman Jess Burks will race Tiger John, Zipalong, Wild Beauty and Flying Cadet for Mrs. Burks here this winter. Apprentice J. De Lucia arrived from Maryland, reporting to Biirley Parke. Burtis L. Perry registered Laus and Iloree, and J. Owens registered John Tio for racing here during the long season about to begin. Olin Johnson got in from Kentucky with the horses he will race for J. C. Ellis. The stable includes Sweeping Vine, Be Glad, Glad Francis, Joy Sweep, Turostone, Mission Time, Grill, Sweeping Beau and three yearlings. Joe Manale, as usual, has charge of the stalls at Jefferson Park and again will accept the entries of horsemen quartered there when the meeting gets under way. Jockey Maurice Berger, who was well up among the leading riders here a year ago, is expected here from New England in a day or so with the stable trained by F. C. Dunn. The Le Mar Stock Farm of Leo J. Marks will be represented at the Fair Grounds this winter for the first time in some years. J. Keezek has charee of the string, which includes Maleman, My Gracious, Miss Damara, Maymiss, Merrily On, Miss Selma, Monopolize, and the yearlings Moody and Mummer. Moody is a gelded chestnut son of Misstep and Bun D., and Mummer is a chestnut filly by Misstep Duenna. The horses Eddie Legere will race here for Louis Rosenbaums Belmont Stable are Wicked Time and Oncave. Jockey Joe Paradise was an arrival from Narragansett and reported to E. H. Gaines, who conditions the horses of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Waugh. Ivan Parke arrived here from New England with Vote Boy, Purple Wrack, Regardless, Dashalong, Bryonin, Garden Message and Crack Mortgage, which race under the colors of Mrs. I. H. Parke, while his brother, Monte, has Me o My and Knave here for A. J. Anderson. R. A. Coward, who has a useful stable quartered at the Fair Grounds, expects apprentice E. Maloney here from Narragansett in a day or so. Street Arab, Phantom Top and Polariscope are the three horses Vic Cowdel is training for E. E. Chanock. Augmenting the string of seventeen he has had here some time, Burley Parke received thirteen more horses from Maryland which he will campaign for Anthony Pelleted and the Millsdale Stable. In the latest consignment were Hermosillo, The Spiller, Princess Verte, Sea Shell, Hardy, Little Beep, Arms, Ellie, Trickwick and four yearlings. Jockey Robert Finnerty will do the bulk of the riding for the stable. Jockey Joe Rosen has given all call on his services to Nick Burger, who is training a useful stable here. Paul Morris checked in from Narragansett with seven horses belonging to Mrs. Floyd West, of Dallas, Texas. The racers are Prince Sador, Jack Sting, Hi-Vic, Idolatry, Flowery Lady, Upside Down and Silver Trace.
