BEAMING LADY raced on the outside of the leaders, challenged strongly on the turn, then tired after swinging wide entering the stretch. CAMBREEZE finished gamely after being outrun early. SOUR CHERRY could not reach contention. REPASS was never a threat. FLYING LASSIE was outrun. COUNORA tired after going five-eighths. SIS ORMONT was held safe. ASTER PRINCESS quit. MORE PEP was rushed off his feet to get to the front on the final turn, but tired after having much taken out of him. FIRST PIGEON dropped far out of contention, then closed an immense gap. SCHLEY NURSE raced evenly. SUN SWEEP raced forwardly for seven-eighths, then tired. PRETTYLASS could not menace. JAVAMOCHA performed disgracefully and pulled up lame. He appeared sore on parade. SURE MISS, forced to race on the outside, bettered her position, but could not reach the first two. HASTEN UP was a stout contender in the early running, but tired after reaching the stretch. CORONADO, away very slowly, closed a great gap. WAR GRAND was forced to race in the deep footing on the inside. OAK APPLE could not "enter contention. DRAWOUT was held safe. MAD DE MIE quit early. FLY ME improved his position steadily and was making up ground in the closing drive. VEDALIA was ridden vigorously from the start and failed to rally when the real test came. CAUGHT, having little speed in the early running, improved his position stoutly in the last half mile and closed stoutly on the inside. ASKARIS, away slowly and far out of contention, circled his field to close an immense gap. KINROSS raced strongly for the first seven-eighths, then hung. HEAD HUNTER raced well. HIGH TENSION raced well placed, responded when put to a drive and was wearing the winner down with every stride nearing the close after coming through on the inside. TOW ROPE was rated, saved ground and continued with good courage under a vigorous drive. PALAN dropped far out of contention, then closed a big gap. TOMMY ROSE was prominent all the way and tired after making a stout challenge on the last turn. BONNY CLABBER was used up racing with the leaders and tired. BRAVING DANGER was never dangerous.
