V AIR TRAFFIC INCREASES Domestic air lines flew 51,350,752 revenue passenger miles during the month of October, which was an increase of 3.78 per cent over the previous month and a 20.97 boost over October, 1937. Col. Edgar Gorrell, president of the Air Transportation Association of America, who made the report, further stated that the increase could be attributed partly to improvement in general business conditions.
