LEOPOLD GODOWSKY DIES NEW YORK, N. Y., Nov. 22. Leopold Godowsky, famous pianist and composer and former director of the Chicago Conservatory of Music, died at Lenox Hospital Monday from complications resulting from a recent operation. A native Russian, Godowsky made his first public appearance at the age of 9.
