DEADLY "SOAP COCKTAILS" LANSING, Kan., Nov. 22. Three Kansas state prison convicts were dead and twelve others were seriously ill today as the result of a Sunday drinking orgy, in which they drank cleaning fluid cocktails. The convicts-discovered a solution of wood alchohol and other chemicals used for cleaning purposes in the prison power plant and from this mixture made the poisoned "soap cocktails," prison authorities explained. Twenty-five inmates took part in the drinking party. The dead are: Monroe Adams, Joseph Harris, and Glen C. Roy.
