HASTEN HENRY, well up from the start, was rated back of the leaders and, coming to the middle of the track in the stretch, took command an eighth out and had little trouble leading to the finish. SKY GAL, unable to keep up with the early leaders, finished fastest. SALSITA raced to the front in the first quarter to show a liking for the going, but tired in the stretch. ANTIGUA was in close quarters after being headed by SALSITA in the early stages and was in the worst part of the track in the stretch. FORT RYOLA raced wide in the stretch and tired badly. THE LAKE had speed from the start and, drawing away from the others after leaving the back stretch, had enough left to withstand a stretch challenge from HIGH ACE and won under pressure. HIGH ACE was in close quarters nearing the far turn, then came to the outside to loom up dangerously at mid-stretch, but was unable to head the winner. GAY JACKET closed some ground in the stretch. LISA BELLE also finished fairly well in the middle of ihc track. RICH DADDY had speed for a half mile, then tired. CURIOUS was badly outrun early, but finished fast. RICKEY ROO tired in the stretch. PANSYS THIRD, close up from the start, was forced to lose ground by racing on the outside of three horses, but, although carried wide on the stretch turn by BROTHER NIBS, raced gamely to the end to out-finish the latter. BROTHER NIBS showed good speed in the going and had no excuses. OUR HAVEN saved ground next to the rail to get through a couple of openings, but was not good enough. ATTA BUNNY closed some ground. LOVELY BELLS tired in the stretch. PALACIO was taken up when in close quarters soon alter the start. FOURTH RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. STEP BY lacked early speed, but moved up fast on the inside nearing the stretch turn and, racing strongly through the stretch, wore down BATTLE CALL to win in a drive. BATTLE CALL raced to the front soon after the start to show good speed in the going and raced fairly well to the end. LT. GREENOCK was close to the pace from the start and had no excuses. JACK O SPADES was unable to head BATTLE CALL and tired in the stretch. BERNHARDT K. could not keep up. BROAWAY BREEZE broke well, but seemed to dislike the going and soon dropped out of it.
