BRISTLE, outrun early, came to the outside in the stretch to wear down LUCAS VALLEY in the last eighth and won going away. LUCAS VALLEY raced to the front soon after the start to draw away from WILL DO after going a quarter and withstood a challenge from PATOU BOW on the stretch turn, but was unable to resist the winner. PATOU BOW moved up strongly to find an opening on the inside on the stretch turn and challenged LUCAS VALLEY, but tired in the last eighth. WILL DO was unable to get to the front and tired. VALINA made a strong move between horses after leaving the back stretch, then tired. BONYNGE was never a serious contender. SKY EMPRESS did not like the going.
