I FAIR GROUNDS TURF NOTES t $ g The main division of the G. W. Ogle stable, which remained in Maryland until the close of the eastern racing season, were placed in quarters at the Fair Grounds Friday morning and included Busy K., Infidox, Time Signal, Perlette, Ironbound, South Bend, Ptolemy, Clocks and Slump. The two platers Flying Red and Chilhoma, which have been turned out in Jefferson Parish since the close of last season here, have been taken up by J. W. Potter and placed in training at Jefferson Park. The horses H. H. Brown registered for the account of Miss Ruth Sidell with the racing secretary of the Louisiana Jockey Club are Happy Helen, Hope Diamond, Panic Relief and Cottingham. The second issue of the Louisiana Jockey Club condition books are expected to be ready for distribution by Monday, according to racing secretary R. A. Leigh. Having obtained a release from the contract that Robert Guciardo held on him, Dave Trembley, 17 years old, will sign a new document with J. P. "Tiny" Keezek, who has a division of the Le Mar Stock Farm horses here this winter. Jockey Joe Rosen, who was affiliated with Dixiana during the past summer and his agent Albert Mott, will depart for Miami, Fla., Saturday morning by motor. Rosen is in receipt of an offer to ride for one of the stables now at Tropical Park. According to word received by Adelard Lemoureux, Mrs. C. C. Winters, Detroit patron, whose Catomar won the Thanksgiving Handicap, is due to arrive in New Orleans to spend the remainder of the winter season. Virgil Oden, acting for Mrs. V. Coleman, purchased the filly Loleet from Mrs. V. Wyse for a private consideration and will ship the racer to Oriental Park along with Harrys Choice. J. H. Schlesinger announced his resignation as trainer of Otterrop for Mrs. E. H. Corey. Robert Bolton has filed application for a trainers license and he will look after the conditioning of the plater in the future. Jockey Cornelio Mojena, who has been among the leading riders at the Fair Grounds for the past several years, will return to his native Cuba next Tuesday along with the shipment of the horses Mrs. H. Torrlente will race on the island. Due to a heavy cold, G. Ray Bryson has been confined to his apartment for the past two days, but reports received at the track are that his condition is vastly improved.
