OVERFLOW AT FAIR GROUNDS Many Owners Forced to Find Stable Accommodations Fifteen Miles From Crescent City Course. NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 2. The overflow of horses for the Louisiana Jockey Clubs meeting is in excess of that of a year ago, a check of the number of thoroughbreds quartered in private barns outside the grounds, revealed. With every available" space on the track proper, also the accommodations at Jefferson Park filled to capacity, some horsemen have been forced to go as far as fifteen miles outside the limits of the city to obtain stabling room. Those stabled outside the grounds, but within .close proximity of the Fair Grounds, are able to conduct their training activities over the racing strip, whereas, those at the Shrewsbury track use Jefferson Park for training. Those still farther away do their training over the half mile track of the South Kenner Racing and Breeders Association. A census of thoroughbreds, stabled outside the track proper in the vicinity of the Louisiana Jockey Clubs course, includes Lowry, Sally May, Miss Glace, Viernes Santo, Queenie K., Papalinda, Sweet Showno, Rhimeda, Green Country, Broadway Girl, Opoca, Valdina, Polante Seth, Highland Lane, New Issue, Prince Ballot, Carefully, Iva Day, News Girl, Broadkill, Moujik, Laus, .Iloree, Swift Air, Elktonia Maid, Hook It, Trans Wynn, Lady Tejas, Boh.
