FAVOR LARGER PLAYER LIMIT BOSTON, Mass., Dec. 2. At least, five National League. Baseball clubs, including the Bees, favor raising the player limit from twenty-three to twenty-five players, league president Ford C. Frick said today. "I dont know how the Pittsburgh, St. Louis or Cincinnati clubs stand on the subject, but a majority are in favor of increasing the limit," said. Frick. The league drew 400,000 more persons in 1938 than a year ago he revealed.
