CHARLTON FIRST WITH TRIO NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 2. When Charles Charlton rode three winners Thursday afternoon he became the first jockey to accomplish the feat at the Fair Grounds this winter. This saddle performance put Charlton at the head of the jockey list for the first seven days of the meeting, wtih a total of six winners. Earl Dew, inactive now because of an injury, and Sammy Williams are second in the standings, with four winners apiece, while Edward Robart, Earl Maloney and Ted Atkinson have three winners each for the same period. i
