BOOJUM RETURNS IN 1940 HOUSTON, Texas, Dec. 21. Boojum, noted stallion, sire of Snark, Thingamubob and other famous racers, which made the season of 1938 at King Ranch in Texas, will be returned to the C. V. "Whitney thoroughbred nursery for the season of 1940, Maj. Louie A. Beard, manager of the extensive Whitney thoroughbred interests, announced in Houston Tuesday. Boojum, which was transferred to the King Ranch last spring, will remain in Texas for the 1939 season. Major Beard will be in Houston for several days, visiting his mother, Mrs. Laura Beard, after which he will go to King Ranch for the purpose of inspecting Boojum and also for a ; brief hunting trip.
