DASHALONG had good speed from the beginning, was under light restraint to the last quarter and tired near the end, but stalled off POKEAWAY. The latter, well up and under restraint for three-eighths, i responded to urging thereafter and was getting to the winner. OUR DAVID lacked early speed, moved up I steadily in the last quarter and finished fastest. PRUM followed the pace under light restraint, was put to pressure on the stretch turn and held on fairly well. NIM failed to rally when shaken up after three-eighths. LONGUEIL had no excuses. QUICK QUICK, never far back and steadied along for a half mile, was hard ridden thereafter and was up in the closing strides. GRILL, a sharp factor from the beginning, moved up stoutly after reaching the stretch and might have lasted under stronger handling. CHIEFS BOY, never far back, was put to good I pressure after throe-eighths and held on well in the drive. BENA BANE had good speed from the beginning, I was put to a drive on the stretch turn, held on well to the last eighth and then tired. MOLLIE V., badly outrun for three-eighths, saved ground entering the stretch and closed well. OAK PARK failed to rally when roused after three-eighths. PRUNAY lacked speed and could not reach a contending position. GRECIAN TIME was through early. I DIXIE PRINCESS, never far back and steadied along for a half mile, forged to the front an eighth out and held her advantage to the end under vigorous handling. LEEORAN had good speed from the ! beginning, was hard ridden the last quarter and held on well. MOONS MISSION had good speed from the I beginning, dropped back on the turn and then came on again in the last quarter. MISS COLLINS made the pace under occasional rousing, was put to increased pressure entering the stretch and tired in the last eighth. ERECH lacked early speed and lost much ground on the turn. SIR TEN could not reach a contending position and tired in the drive. WILLOW WAND broke well, but could not keep up. STREET ARAB, quick to take command, opened a commanding lead in the first three-eighths and did not have to be persevered with to hold his advantage to the end. MY SHADOW, never far back, was put to good pressure on the stretch turn, but could not menace the winner. ZACABOX was blocked on the turn, saved ground thereafter and closed well. FAY D. lacked early speed, but otherwise had no Mishaps. ROLLS EASY bore out on the stretch turn. TEPERWINE raced wide throughout. SNOW FLOWER had good speed for three-eighths, then tired badly. LAURA KIEV, away fast but unable to keep up, was put to good pressure after seven-eighths and held on fairly well in the drive. OVERPLAY forced the pace for three-quarters under restraint, took command thereafter when called upon and then gave way in the final eiehth. BUSBY failed to respond to urging after three-quarters. TAKEN, close up from the start and kept on the outside, improved his position gradually under competent handling, drifted out some on the stretch turn, disposed of JEWELL DORSETT an eighth out and shook off a challenge from DNIEPER, then drew clear. DNIEPER moved up strongly in the last three-eighths, came between TAKEN and JEWELL DORSETT when straightened out and was under extreme pressure to the end. SWEET ADELINE was hard hustled all the way and finished gamely. JEWELL DORSETT displayed the most early speed and opened up a commanding lead quickly, but tired rapidly in the last quarter mile. BUSY K. was unable to keep up in the early stages, though hard urged from the start, then improved his position slightly, but was never a threat. LEGERDEMAIN was always a trailer. MARGARET NADI, well up and in hand for three-quarters, responded to pressure thereafter and held on fairly well. PISH TUSH tired in the drive after showing good speed for three-quarters. TRIPLE PLAY made the pace under good rating, was vigorously handled when challenged and tired. FREEZE had no mishaps.
