Racing Dates Approved For Tracks in Quebec Season to Open at Blue Bonnets And Come to Close at Kings Park MONTREAL, Que., May 5.— Racing for Montreal this season was assured yesterday when the annual meeting of the Province of Quebec Racing Association, Inc., was held at Windsor Hotel. Dates were allotted for the 1942 racing season and officers were elected for the current year. The season will open at Blue Bonnets on June 20 and close at Kings Park on September 12. The full schedule of dates, as approved by the meeting, is as follows: Blue Bonnets— June 20 to July 6. Connaught Park— July 18 to August 3. Mount Royal— August 7 to August 22. Kings Park— August 28 to September 12. No change was made in the list of officers from 1941, the following being elected: T. P. Gorman, president; H. A. Letourneau, vics-president; Jules Dugal, secretary; X. E. Narbonne, treasurer; H. T. Stephens, assistant secretary-treasurer. A further meeting of the association is scheduled for May 12, when officials for the 1942 racing season will be appointed, and the details connected with the racing of the various meetings decided upon.
