BULRUSHES and JAMESBOROUGH raced each other into defeat. PLUCKY RAY dropped back after the start, then came with a rush. BURGOO PRINCE was never a factor. JAMESBOROUGH was tiring when bumped. The latter was slow to begin, but improved his position steadily and finished fast on the outside. SCOTLAND LIGHT was sent to the inside for the stretch run and finished with determination. GENEROUS showed speed throughout and had no mishaps. BEN GRAY showed an ever, effort throughout. BLUEWATER was away slowly. BURGAWAY, in nearest pursuit of the early pace, faltered steadily in the stretch run. LISTE moved up with a rush entering the stretch, then quit. PARK BENCH had no mishaps. FIFTH RACE 1 1-16 MIXES. POMAYYA was sent into command alter the start and was rated along under steady restraint, having no mishaps. LOVEDAY bewan slowly and made up some ground, but could not menace the leaders. NOTES was allowed to drop out of contention at the start and was ridden wide at the first turn and then at the stretch turn. SILVER GRAIL raced well and had no mishaps. MISS B. B. forced the pare from the start and, under severe pressure, came again in the final strides to outfinish ENOCH BORLAND. The latter was under steady restraint early but moved up fast entering the stretch and hung sharply at the end. ONE SHEN was well up and under mild restraint, but responded when urged and finished well. SWEEPALOT saved ground throughout and had no mishaps. ORENCO forced the early pace, only to falter in the final drive. ALLMAR had no mishaps.
