Durnells Large Stable CICERO, 111., May 5. — Charles "Boots" Durnell, veteran trainer, who has trained large stable not only in this country but in most of the European countries, arrived at Sportsmans Park to look over the large public stable he has quartered at both Sportsmans Park and Hawthorne. The stable consists of six two-year-olds, which are the property of -Neil S. McCarthy, prominent breeder from California, and has twenty horses in all. Among the horses are Mans Man, who belongs to Cleaveland Putnam; Polymelior, who races in the colors of Mrs. Jean Putnam, and Pompim, who runs in the interest of Mrs. C. E. f Durnell. The horses will be seen in action at all the Chicago tracks during the summer.
