Mar-Geo Destroyed DETROIT, Mich., June 24. George C. White today had the two-year-old filly, Mar-Geo, humanely destroyed. The daughter of Rhodes Scholar Sunny Fields was the property of George F. McCarthy, of Pueblo, Colo. She had suffered numerous burns and cuts contracted from roaming around loose following the disastrous fire at the Fair Grounds early last Saturday morning which took the life of one groom, David O. Scott, injured others and caused the death of 31 horses.
