HEPCAT, well up from the start, saved ground in the stretch to best the others. OH MANDY loomed as a threat after rounding the stretch turn, but faltered near the end. IDLE SUN was saved for the first three-quarters, then came steadily to find an opening on the stretch turn and, heading ROYAL RISK when straightened out for home, held him to the finish. ROYAL RISK saved ground throughout and went fairly well to the end. KOKOMO made Up ground. PAMPHLET opened up a good early lead, but tired. BORIS N. was carried wide on the stretch turn and tired. BE BRIEF was under slight restraint while racing with PORT HARMONY in the early part and, drawing away from the latter when ready, was never menaced thereafter. CLARKSVILLE made a good run under urging through the stretch and was going well at the end. SUN FLOWER was well up from the start and also went gamely to the finish. ROMAN SOX headed CREEPIN after going a quarter, drew into a good lead and had enough left at the end to hold GOLD PRINCESS. The latter broke well, but dropped some distance back of the leaders after going a quarter, then came steadily on the outside through the stretch and was gaining. JUST FOR FUN had early speed and went fairly well to the end. TRAFFIC COURT never threatened, although finishing fairly well. CREEPIN tired. MISS BARBARA was never a coHtrnder. SUN AGAIN, taken back when in close quarters early, trailed the field to the stretch, then came strongly on the outside and, although showing a slight inclination to bear in near the end, won drawing away. GEORGIE DRUM was also cased back in the backstretch, made a strong run on the outside of the early leaders in the stretch and went well to the finish. ANTICLIMAX showed good early speed and held on well in the final drive. DAILY TROUBLE came to the outside on the stretch turn to take command, but was used up from his early efforts and tired ROUNDERS and FIRE DUST had early speed, but tired. QUIZZLE dropped back when the real racing began. SALTO went wide in the stretch. MAR-KELL could not keep up.
