Report Death in New Orleans Of Edward Groyer Cleveland COLLINSVELLE, 111., June 24. According to word received here this morning from New Orleans, Edward Cleveland, better known as "Grover" to officials and race trackers, died in the Crescent City yesterday. "Grover," who served as porter in racing secretary Richard A. Leighs office for many years, spent most of last winter in a hospital at New Orleans. After reporting here for work during the early part of the meeting his health began to fail again and funds were raised to return him to the Crescent City. No further details as to where the body would be buried were received here.
