Buys. 00 Bond With Dimes AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y. June 24. John Walker, the veteran valet, stymied the ladies of the A. W. V. S. at Aqueduct this morning when he placed a cloth bag on the desk of the head bond saleswoman. The bag weighed 21 pounds and was crammed -with dimes. Walker saved the dimes over a three-year period. The silver counting facilities of the Stevens Company were thrown in high gear for awhile and when the total count was completed the sum was 75.00. Walker invested the cash in War Bonds and emphatically refused the tickets that are presented to bond buyers.
