Keep Hawthorne Stables Open HAWTHORNE, Cicero, HI., June 13.— The local racing strip and the stabling area will remain open after the meeting comes to an end here Saturday. Through a working agreement with officials at Arlington Park, horsemen unable to obtain stall space at the North Side oval will be sent here and horses will be vanned to the track on racing days. Only last week it was announced that this track would be closed to horsemen one week after Saturday, and the change in plans was effected after officials of the two tracks conferred.
