England, June 13.— Reuters — The American -bred and owned three-year-old colt, Whistling Wind, by Discovery — Sunset II.. carrying the silks of Robert S. Clark, today won the ,200 Eccles Plate, at one mile. Whistling Wind, who arrived from the United States last winter, won easily by five lengths. He was a 2-1 favorite and covered the distance in 1:37%. Now that the colt is becoming ac- climated he may prove a useful performer.
