No Special Awards at Detroit FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., May 8. — The Detroit Racing Association announced that, in view of the abolition of twilight racing during its long meeting, which commences on May 24, the donation of bonuses to grooms and exercise boys will be discontinued. The bonus plan was put into effect at the Motor City course as recompense for the additional time required for a racing day while twilight was in vogue, and it is felt that its continuance is no longer justified.
