MISS SHOW ME had early speed but cut over sharply right after the start, drew clear and was never threatened. LADY WELCH, bothered slightly after the start by the winner, was rushed into contention and raced forwardly, but was no match for the winner Jockey Emery claimed a foul, which was not allowed. ZANNA MAY was forwardly placed from the beginning and held on well. CINESAR raced evenly, but was unable to threaten. BREAK THRU made up some ground from a slow beginning. Won driving; second and third the same STAR GRADUATE was sent to the front and steadied there and was placed to stout pressure to hold BLACK RA safe in the drive. BLACK RA raced closest to the pace of the winner, moved up to be closely aligned in the stretch drive and just failed to get up. Jessop claimed a foul, stating Olivera had waved his whip before his horse but the claim was not allowed. OMAHA BOUND finished well, but was not dangerous LADY SEATON raced evenly. ROYAL NED could not keep up. P0L0NIUS went wide on the first turn. SAMMIES IMAGE dwelt when the start came. GIANTS ALL was eased when she went lame. PRECO, never far back, moved around on the outside to take command in the backstretch, drew clear under pressure on the turn and held RADIO JOE safe. The latter was not hurried early, improved his position gradually, swung around on the outside for the drive and was wearing the winner down. SWIFT ACTION, a forward factor all the way held on well. OLD SILK lacked early speed, but finished with a rush. DEL0RAH had good speed to race forwardly but weakened. SHOW finished well. VELVET HEELS set the early pace, but quit. THOROBELLE was steadied closest to the pace of BENTBROOK and, on the inside, was sent into a short lead on the stretch turn, then continued gamely while saving ground. BENTBROOK had speed to take command in the run for the first turn, was steadied in front off the rail and met the bid of the winner stubbornly while on the outside. COOLING SPRING closed very fast from a slow beginning. GALLANT HOUR was a forward factor all the way while racing on the outside. FAFF passed weakening horses. ILEFETCHIT was unable to engage the leaders. WAR MISS could not keep up. STATIC quit after showing early speed. Overweight— llefetchit, 1 pound. SIXTH RACE 7-8 MILE out of chute. RUSH ACT improved his position gradually behind horses, was sent between horses into closer contention and closed well, but was not good enough. WOW lacked early speed, but closed with a rush on the outside. CHERRY WINE had good speed from the beginning, held on stubbornly when headed by the winner and continued gamely. BANK BALANCE was unable to engage the leaders, but finished well back of horses. TED MOSQUERO broke well, but dropped back at once. CAMPS FIRST, fractious at the post, had early speed, but quit. RAFFLE HOUSE was under restraint while racing closest to the pace of DEVILS BREW, raced the latter into submission to take command on the final tum, then drew clear, but was under pressure to hold JUBILEE GEM safe. The latter was not hurried early, moved up with a rush on the outside in the backstretch and closed gamely. DEVILS BREW was sent into a clear lead at once and was steadied in front, but weakened. NEW FACE made a weak bid in the backstretch, but flattened out. WARY MARY could not keep up. MONTREE was never dangerous. BIG HOPE unseated his rider on the first turn. Manifold was uninjured. DIZZY HEIGHTS was sent to the front after a half mile, but was used up racing with the winner and weakened. QUEEN ISLAM, very slow to settle in stride, finished with a rush.
