Cooper Attends Kins Funeral CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky.t May 8.— Don Cooper, assistant to starter Reuben White at Churchill Downs, departed for Collinsville, 111., to attend the funeral of his sister-in-law, Mrs. George Cooper. Mrs. Cooper was fatally injured and her husband is in a critical condition following an accident occurring during an early morning horseback ride. Mrs. Coopers fractious steed became startled and ran off the bridle path and on to the highway. Cooper took off in close pursuit of his wife and both were struck by an oncoming automobile. Funeral services will be held today in Collinsville.
