Other new members of the official group will be William R. "Duke" Dahlstrom, Eddie Blind, George Read and Alfred Robertson. With the exception of the last named, this is a thoroughly experienced quartet Robertson, best known to race-goers as "Robbie", was a crack rider in his younger days and in more recent years an able trainer. The local meeting will mark his first assignment as a patrol judge. Dahlstrom, who will function as clerk of scales, has filled many official positions on the countys courses, having been a racing secretary and steward at several Chicago tracks. Eddie Blind is scheduled to pinch hit as starter, in place of George Palmer, during the initial meeting. George Read, the new paddock judge, filled the same position at Monmouth Park last summer, as well as at Tropical Park and Gulfstream Park during the winter. Stall superintendent Al Nun again will double as a placing judge, serving with Hart Dernham and F. G. "Pat" Farrell, who also were here last season. Others re-appointed included patrol judges Bill Davis, Willie Doyle and Jack Pryce, with Joe Me-gill remaining as official timer. Mort Mahony will be in charge of the mutuel department again and J. Douglas Geddes will head the admissions force, as he did during the tracks initial year, with Steve Ryder captaining the police. There will be two veterinarians on duty, William S.
